Iraqi lawmaker decries potential absence of Syrian president from Arab summit as 'insult to Iraq'

Alaa al-Hadadi, a member of Iraq's State of Law Coalition, said the possible absence of Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa from the upcoming Arab League summit in Baghdad would be an insult to Iraq, also threatening a withdrawal of the Coalition from the political process.
